The 40G QSFP+ PSM4 1.4km Transceiver is a parallel single mode 4 channels 40Gbps (4x10Gbps), pluggable optical module for 40G Ethernet and InfiniBand QDR, DDR and SDR Applications.
It is a high-performance module for data communication and interconnects applications that operate at 10.3125 Gbps per lane up to 1.4km over SMF.  
The optical connection is MPO and is designed to operate over single mode fiber systems using four 1310nm DFB lasers and four PIN receivers. Digital diagnostics functions are available via the I2C interface.
