The 40G QSFP+ SR Transceiver is a parallel 4 channels 40Gbps (4x10Gbps), pluggable optical module for 40G Ethernet and InfiniBand QDR Applications. 
It is a high-performance module for short-range data communication and interconnects applications that operate at 10.3125 Gbps per lane up to 150 m using OM3 fiber.  
The optical connection is MPO and is designed to operate over multimode fiber systems using a nominal wavelength of 850nm. Digital diagnostics functions are available via the I2C interface.
